Je suis la corde de velours
nouée autour de leurs deux tailles,

la partie en peluche du trio,
un lien solide et inséparable.

l’homme fort tire sur mes extrémités
et nous serre pour nous faire trembler.

L’homme enjoué nous fait tourner
entre frôlement et frottement,

l’homme prévenant qui touche
mon être de velours

en épiant le couple,
joues rouges dans l’attente.

l’homme libidineux dit des mots
obscènes et encourageants.

Puis, comme le soir tombe évidemment
et que temps et chaleur sont épuisés

l’homme fatigué s’arrange pour détendre
et relâcher mes extrémités.

Les deux âmes déliées refroidissent,
et soupirent en se séparant.

The Cord Speaks

I am the velvet cord
tied round both their waists,

the plush part of the trio,
a taut, inseparable hold.

The strong man draws on my ends
and tightens us to make us tremble.

The playful man spins us around
in a bump and a grind.

The thoughtful man touches
my velvet self

and peers at the couple,
red cheeked and waiting.

The randy man calls out words
salacious and encouraging.

Then, as dusk falls surely
and time and heat are spent,

the tired man provides the slack
for my extremities to loosen.

The two untied cooling souls
sigh as they fall apart.
