Martin Bates

Martin Bates, born in Lancashire in 1935. He lives in Scotland. Several collections of poetry published, including : Rag and Bone Shop and Between Desert and Sea (Rivelin Press), Wounded Lion (Redbeck), Exploding Cicadas (White Adder - - poems from Nicaragua - runner-up for Callum Macdonald Memorial Scottish Poetry Pamphlet Award 2006)
