NO, IT WASN’T RAINING…

NO, IT WASN'T RAINING, THUS SPOKE CASSANDRA

Cassandra comes from the world of murmurs.
A goddess now being in her body and the trace
of Apollo's kiss on her lips, she, the mortal Cassandra,
the union of divine twins, wanders Troy barefoot,
dishevelled. Her voices are ruled by seven planets.
Her mind is composed of seven murmurs.

Tigers will roar. Not on the earth.
Corn will sprout. Not from the earth.
Ships will come. Not from the sea.
They will bring toys. They won't be children.
They will speak languages. They won't be Greek.
You will bow down to him. He isn't from Olympus.
You will bury me. In Atlantis. In a triangle.
At the bottom of the sea.
