Jack Israel has had poems in many places over the years, including the American Poetry Review, the Beloit Poetry Journal, RIver CIty, and the Southern Poetry Review, most recently in the Courtland Review, an online journal. He is a recipient of a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts fellowship, and maintains a literary blog, Yaakov Murchadha. He is a past president of Poetry Center at the YMHA in Philadelphia.
