Noelle Kocot is the author of five books of poet­ry, most recent­ly, Poem for the End of Time and Oth­er Poems (Wave Books, 2006), Sun­ny Wednes­day (Wave, 2009) and The Big­ger World (Wave, 2011).  She also trans­lat­ed a book of poet­ry by the poet Tris­tan Cor­biere, called Poet by Default (Wave, 2011), and wrote a discog­ra­phy called Damon’s Room (Wave, 2010).  She have received numer­ous awards for her work, includ­ing those from The Acad­e­my of Amer­i­can Poets, The Nation­al Endow­ment for the Arts and The Amer­i­can Poet­ry Review.  Noelle Kocot was born and raised in Brook­lyn, New York, and she now live in New Jer­sey and teach writ­ing in New York City.
