Noelle Kocot is the author of five books of poetry, most recently, Poem for the End of Time and Other Poems (Wave Books, 2006), Sunny Wednesday (Wave, 2009) and The Bigger World (Wave, 2011). She also translated a book of poetry by the poet Tristan Corbiere, called Poet by Default (Wave, 2011), and wrote a discography called Damon’s Room (Wave, 2010). She have received numerous awards for her work, including those from The Academy of American Poets, The National Endowment for the Arts and The American Poetry Review. Noelle Kocot was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and she now live in New Jersey and teach writing in New York City.
