Kad umrem,
obavezno ostavite prozor otvoren.
Hoću da nastavim da budem prizor
kroz koji sa tobom hodam
korak prirastao uz korak
kao neistražena životinjica
u šetnji
iz jedne u drugu vrstu.

I gramofon da ste mi uključili.
Ne volim tango sa traka,
još manje savršenstvo kompakt diskova.
Želim da na miru igram sa tobom
mislima
taj ples koji sam sa sobom pleše.
Nađite mi ploču koja pucketa.

Find me a record that crackles.
I love to make love to noise.

Open to me all your letters.
I long to sniff them,
the way I’ve always read them.

At the table, by my bedside,
which was always a deathbed too,
put a shell and a small scented candle.
If you could find the flavor of vanila,
you'll do me a great favor.

If you translate the imperative
into the language of a wish
that doesn't wish to be fulfilled,
I will let you have my dog.
When you think that I am gone,
if you don’t question the origin
of my requests

I will love you more
than alive.
